Dozens of residents were evacuated during the night after a huge fire broke out at a workshop in Bristol.
Firefighters worked throughout the night to tackle the blaze in Speedwell after first being called to the scene at 6:20pm on Friday. Crews from from Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire were drafted in to deal with the incident, which saw a total of 44 households being evacuated.Avon Fire and Rescue Service Chief Executive called the fire a ‘major incident’ as he took to Twitter to praise the work of the emergency teams.Up to 44 households were evacuated from the site in Speedwell My thanks to everyone involved at the incident in Speedwell in Bristol tonight.
