Tue, February 20th 2024 at 7:39 AM of the war in Ukraine.According to the United Nations, more than 30,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed or hurt, and losses in the army could be up to 70,000.
“And our soldiers are dying, in part, because of the lack of ammunition on the ground. So, we want to bring attention to this matter, gather the supporters and hopefully encourage everyone to act,” said Valeria Beussink, co-organizer of Central PA Supports Ukraine.The package was passed in the Senate but has not been brought up in the House of Representatives.
“So, one of our messages actually here is for everyone to encourage the House Speaker Mike Johnson to bring it up for vote to consider it because every day is costing human lives,” Beussink said. They are also asking people to help Ukraine by calling your House Representative and demanding action.
