A bungling thief who gashed his arm on glass during a reptile robbery at an animal charity has been caged.
Hesketh cashed in on the pilfered lizard for £20, however, the pet was subsequently recovered in good health by the authorities and returned to the charity. As he made his getaway on October 16, Hesketh wounded himself on a shard of glass, a mishap that ultimately led police to him.
