A chilling conversation in Emmerdale today left Jacob with the horrifying conclusion that Doctor Todd's vendetta against him isn't over yet.

Jacob Gallagher was left terrified in Emmerdale today, as Doctor Caitlin Todd made it clear her vendetta against him isn’t over yet. Last Friday, Jacob was in the hospital and saw his bullying boss making a speech in front of their colleagues. He grew annoyed, and assumed Doctor Todd was raving about how great she is.
When he entered the room though, Jacob was surprised to learn that it was Caitlin’s farewell speech, following her decision to go into early retirement. For a reason yet to be revealed, Doctor Todd has been bullying Jacob for the past few months and taking great pleasure in destroying his confidence. Jacob has tried and tried to stand up to Caitlin, but she seems to be a step ahead of him at all times. In today’s instalment of the ITV soap, Doctor Todd was getting ready for her father’s funeral.
In an attempt to clear the air, Jacob took his boss some flowers and said that he hopes they can now move on. As soon as Jacob left though, Doctor Todd threw the flowers onto the sofa. Jacob is trying to fight, but it seems Doctor Todd has done this before, as she’s always a step ahead After the funeral, Caitlin was in the shop with Vanessa Woodfield .
She was asked out for a drink by Vanessa, who seems pretty smitten by the new face. Caitlin said yes, and charmed Vanessa further by helping with her shopping. As Jacob scanned the items, he reiterated that he’d like to leave their feud in the past. Caitlin then started speaking about her early retirement and how she’s got more free time on her hands now.
To Jacob’s shock, Caitlin then suggested that she might use this spare time to make Jacob’s life ‘as hellish’ as when they worked together. Already on edge, Jacob was gobsmacked when Caitlin then said ‘especially with what I know’ with a smirk on her face. Jacob’s already at breaking point The knowledge Caitlin is privy to is the fact baby Leyla isn’t actually Jacob and Sarah Sugden’s child.
Following the birth, Caitlin was able to work out that apparent surrogate Charity Dingle is actually the mum, following a one-night stand with Ross Barton . Things have taken a dark turn for Jacob as a result of Doctor Todd’s meddling.
The grenade she’s now holding in her hands is incredibly powerful, and one move from Jacob that she doesn’t like will more than likely see Caitlin rip that pin off and throw the bomb into the centre of Jacob’s life. It has the potential to destroy Jacob’s world for a very long time – something Caitlin will take great pleasure in watching, I’m sure.
