He said: 'It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved James Lee Williams - The Vivienne , has passed this weekend. James was an incredibly loved, warm-hearted and amazing person. 'Their family are heartbroken at the loss of their son, brother and uncle.
The Vivienne performed at the Liverpool Empire in a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang last year and told the ECHO about how much they treasured their Liverpool roots. They said: 'My drag career started in Liverpool, and so it holds such a dear place in my heart.' Since their start in Liverpool, The Vivienne broke the mould and became a trailblazer in improving LGBTQ+ representation in the media.
