EA has announced the launch times for BioWare's long-awaited RPG, and revealed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will run at 60fps on Xbox Series X|S.
We've not long to wait until we can return to Thedas for the Dragon Age: The Veilguard achievements. The upcoming Xbox RPG launches on October 31, and EA has now revealed the release times for players wanting to dive in as soon as the game is out. We also now know that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will run at 60fps on Xbox Series X|S via a Performance mode. It's unclear what resolution each mode will offer, although it's likely a safe bet to assume that Fidelity mode on Xbox Series X will target 4K. While talking about the PS5 Pro's new PSSR AI upscaling tech, BioWare technical director Maciej Kurowski says, 'We’ve enabled Raytraced Ambient Occlusion in the 60FPS Performance mode, which previously was only available on the base PlayStation 5 with 30FPS Fidelity mode.
