As reported by the fan news account Shonen Jump News on X, MANGA Plus is no longer listing Dragon Ball Super as coming back in May 2024. Instead, the popular digital manga app - which publishes the chapters of Dragon Ball Super internationally, now lists the series simply as "on a hiatus". Instead, Dragon Ball Super seems to be on indefinite hiatus now, and there is no indication of when it will come back. This, however, doesn't mean that the series will not continue. It could simply be that Toyotarou needs - and deserves - more time to process the passing of a man he considered his idol and master, or maybe the entire Dragon Ball team needs time to decide in which direction they should bring the franchise now.
