Dramatic footage shows the moments just after a BMW ploughed through the front of a restaurant on a busy road.
Some railings and parts of the walls of the restaurant also appeared to have been left damaged. This morning, pictures taken at the scene showed a huge pile of smashed glass outside the restaurant.An area off the pavement outside Red Chilli remained cordoned off. The restaurant is currently closed. They were then looked after by paramedics. Police said the extent of their injuries 'is not yet known'.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Oxford Road, Manchester at around 9pm on Tuesday 1 November 2022. It is believed it was involving a vehicle which subsequently caused damage to a building.
