A disqualified driver who chowed down on a kebab and supped on a can of Stella as he sat behind the wheel has been jailed.
Prosecutor Anthony Moore told Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday officers signalled the car to stop on Dewsbury Road, and it did, and they approached its driver. He said: "He was seen to pick up a kebab. They asked him to get out of the vehicle and he refused. He was showing signs of intoxication and there was an open can of Stella in the drinks holder.
