A driver is alleged to have been seven times over the legal drink driving limit when he was caught by cops - who'd received a tip-off from a concerned member of the public.
At 8.08pm on Friday, January 13, Police Scotland received a report of a male who was believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol, on Kilpatrick Crescent, in Paisley. Police arrested a 48-year-old man after carrying out a roadside breath test where they discovered he was seven times over the drink driving limit.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We urge anyone with information on drink/drug drivers to contact us on the 999 emergency number, 101 if non-urgent or alternatively through the charity Crimestoppers, if you wish to remain anonymous on 0800 555 111.
