A driver suspected of driving under the influence sustained only minor injuries after a wrong-way crash with a semi truck in Parleys Canyon.
by Victoria Hill, KUTVOfficials said only minor injuries were sustained after a wrong-way crash involving a semi truck on I-80 in Parleys Canyon on March 12, 2024.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers responded to I-80 near milepost 134 shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. They said a red Nissan hatchback was reported going eastbound in westbound lanes when the collision occurred.The Nissan was struck in its front right corner. Officials said the semi truck driver was uninjured, and the Nissan driver was not hospitalized.The Nissan driver — who was not identified, but specified as being a female — was arrested for DUI.
