Driver told cops he got back behind wheel WEEKS after being banned because 'it was cold'
A banned driver got behind the wheel just weeks after being given his disqualification in court — because he said it was ‘cold outside’.
When he was stopped by road cops, Greater Manchester Police said that he ‘reversed through two wheelie bins’ and almost hit a parked car. He has now been arrested. The location of the incident is not yet known but officers tweeted a photo of the car, which appears to be in a residential area. The image appears to be taken from a police dash cam.The tweet said: “The driver of this vehicle was disqualified at court six weeks ago. Today he reversed through two wheelie bins and almost collided with a parked car when he thought about making off from the Roads Policing Unit.
“Driver stated he drove as it was cold outside. [He has now been] arrested and [the] vehicle seized.”
