Preston driver turned his headlights off in terrifying 2am police chase at 90mph
A banned driver led police on a 90mph chase through residential areas before climbing in the back of the car and claiming he was a passenger.

Judge Guy Mathieson, sentencing, said watched police camera footage of the chase before passing sentence. He said: "It is terrifying, when he is a lawful user of the road, to see you - or not see you because you had the stupidity to turn your lights off, and cause havoc everywhere you go. It went on for several minutes. It is terrifying. It doesn't matter what time of day or night, it is terrifying.
