The latest disruption is part of an ongoing three-year £317m project to update the motorway.
Drivers will have to follow diversion signs during an overnight closure on the M25 to avoid begin charged under London's ultra low emission zone rules.
However, a planned third weekend of disruption has since been downgraded to a single evening, now taking place from 21:00 GMT on Saturday until 10:00 GMT on Sunday.
