Drivers were told to keep their car windows shut after crates holding 5million bees fell off a lorry.
The crates of bees toppled off the truck and onto the Guelph Line in Ontario around 6.15am on Wednesday. ‘Crates were literally on the road and swarms of bees were flying around,’ said Halton Regional Police constable Ryan Anderson.Cops urged drivers to close their windows as they went by and told pedestrians to stay away from the area.
