Dua Lipa, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, has revealed that she had to cancel a concert due to "safety issues" with the staging. The 29-year-old star expressed her "heartbreak" over the situation.
She broke the news via a statement on her Instagram Story, telling fans: "I am heartbroken to share that I won't be able to perform in Jakarta this Saturday, November 9. I am there in your amazing country and ready to perform, but I am gutted to share that it has been determined that it is not safe for the performance to carry on due to safety issues with the staging."
Dua concluded by assuring fans that refunds will be issued from their point of purchase and expressed her eagerness to reunite with them for singing and dancing as soon as possible, reports the Mirror. The pop sensation will then grace stages across Japan, Australia, Spain, and Belgium in the upcoming months. England awaits her arrival in June next year, starting with two nights at London's Wembley Stadium, followed by two shows in Liverpool.
