Scott Cunningham won Agriculture Learner of the Year with Wallace Hall Academy landing the Secondary Schools Award
Three people and a school from Dumfries and Galloway have won awards at Lantra Scotland’s Awards for Land-based and Aquaculture Skills , which took place at Crieff Hydro Hotel.
The school’s Leah Belford said: “What an honour to win an ALBAS award. We have been working hard to introduce pupils to a wide range of outdoor learning opportunities, so to be recognised is a great feeling. Thank you.” “Thank you to Lantra Scotland, Tarff Valley Training Services and Skills Development Scotland and all our other partners for your support. It is brilliant to see the progression of apprentices in agriculture.”
The ALBAS are organised by Lantra, the sector skills council for the land-based, aquaculture and environmental conservation industries.
