Sky Sports 'to hit' SPFL with huge bill after Dundee vs Rangers debacle.
The pitch debacle which has caused the postponement of Dundee vs Rangers - twice - will see the SPFL hit with a huge bill by Sky Sports, it's been reported.The broadcaster twice sent fully-staffed outside units to Tayside and booked commentators and presenters for the Premiership clash.The match between Tony Docherty's side and Philippe Clement's title chasers will take place tonight, finally, at the third attempt.
Aside from the game, the SPFL have opened disciplinary proceedings against Dundee over the handling of their pitch, with a hearing scheduled for Thursday. Sky's claim could feature as part of that meeting, it's said.
