The Dark Blues will look to get the game on for a third time but back up plans are in place.
The SPFL have confirmed the clash between Dundee and Rangers will be moved to McDiarmid Park should Dens Park fail a Tuesday pitch inspection.
The game will be subject to a pitch inspection on Tuesday - where a "final decision" will be made on the surface. Should Dens Park fail once again it will be shifted to St Johnstone's McDiarmid Park. A statement read: "The SPFL has announced a series of contingency measures regarding the previously postponed Dundee v Rangers cinch Premiership match on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
"It has further been agreed that the match official will carry out an inspection of the playing surface on the morning of Tuesday, April 16, after which, taking weather forecasts into account, a final decision will be taken on whether to play the game at Dens Park. In a statement, Rangers also confirmed that visiting supporters would be able to attend the game amid speculation over a closed door game. It read: "Should the pitch at Dens Park again be deemed unplayable or likely to be unplayable, the game will be moved to McDiarmid Park, Perth, with an 8pm kick-off on Wednesday, April, 17.
