According to Collider, Dune: Part Two has reached another milestone regarding actor Timothée Chalamet. With $631,316,791 grossed worldwide, Dune: Part Two is now the highest-grossing movie Chalamet has starred in. The film recently beat out Wonka, which also stars Chalamet and grossed $631,058,526 worldwide, about $300,000 less than Dune: Part Two.
Tomatometers aside, Dune: Part Two may be the best display of the actor’s talents. The complexity of Paul as a character and the trials he goes through allow Chalamet to give a performance that rivals the ones he gave in Call Me by Your Name and 2019’s The King. Comparing the films themselves, the sheer scope of Dune: Part Two, and its combined critical and commercial success, make the film one of Chalamet’s bests.
