Police have closed Dunnings Bridge Road in Bootle after a suspected unexploded bomb was found. Officers were called to the scene around 10.15am this morning after the device was found.

When asked by a user for more details, the council replied: "Hello, at the moment, we only know there has been an incident and the road is closed."An office worker who was evacuated has described the scene: "We were working in the office building when we were evacuated.
