Duterte, the concurrent Secretary of Education, also met with Dr. Romaizah Mohd Salleh, the Minister of Education of Brunei. “Ipinahayag natin ang ating paghanga sa integrasyon ng teknolohiya sa kanilang curriculum at sa mga innovation na ipinapatupad upang mapaniguro na ang mga mag-aaral ay may kakayahan at kasanayan sa pagbasa, pagsulat, at pakikipag-usap,” said Duterte.ADVERTISEMENT
“Ang selebrasyong ito ay isang pag-alala sa mga sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani upang makamit ang ating kasarinlan, kasabay ng ating pagbibigay diin sa pagkilala natin sa dedikasyon at sakripisyo ng mga OFWs para mabigyan ng magandang buhay ang ang kanilang mga pamilya sa Pilipinas,” the Vice President told her fellow Filipinos.
