President Duterte will be attending the inauguration of his daughter, Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio, in Davao City on Sunday, June 19.

The Manila Bulletin also asked the Vice President-elect’s spokesperson, Liloan Mayor Christina Frasco, whether or not Duterte will attend the event. Duterte was invited by his daughter who will be sworn into office by Supreme Court Justice Ramon Paul Hernando. “On June 18 to 19, several streets in the downtown area near the vicinity of City Hall and neighboring areas will be closed to vehicles. The driving public is advised to take other routes for these two days. Heavy traffic should be expected during the weekend,” Frasco earlier said in a statement.
