Some payments are being made later
Struggling households could be eligible for extra cost of living help as food prices and bills remain high. It comes as the Government is offering five different payments during the 2023/2024 financial year.
Who qualifies for the £301 payment? People on Universal Credit, income-related Employment and Support Allowance , income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance , Income Support, Pension Credit, Child Tax Credit or Working Tax Credit may be eligible for the payments. To qualify, you need to have received a payment of those benefits between January 26 and February 25 or, in the case of Universal Credit, an assessment period that ended between those dates.
But if you had a nil award because of a rent payment or debt deductions, you could still qualify for the payment.
