The DWP is currently moving people claiming 'legacy benefits' over to Universal Credit in a process known as 'Managed Migration'
Housing Benefit claimants have been told to keep an eye out for important correspondence from the Department for Work and Pensions .
Upon receiving your migration notice, you'll have a three-month window to apply for Universal Credit. Failure to do so could result in the loss of your benefits.
