Sean Dyche will need to make some key decisions for Everton's upcoming match against Nottingham Forest, including whether to start Armando Broja and who will play at right back.
The potential return of Ashley Young and whether now is the time to start Armando Broja are two of the biggest calls for Sean Dyche ahead of Nottingham Forest . Young has been one of the best players of the season for Everton but missed out on the draw at Manchester City due to suspension. In his place club captain Seamus Coleman returned and played an important role at both ends of the pitch.
He was withdrawn from the game with minutes to go after suffering cramp but Coleman will be available for the visit of Forest, providing Dyche with a decision to make at right back. The Blues boss cut a frustrated figure on the touchline and was visibly frustrated as his side struggled to present an attacking threat in the first half an hour at the Etihad on Boxing Day. Dominic Calvert-Lewin was once again a lonely figure as Everton focused on maintaining defensive solidity. It was a different game when loan forward Broja arrived on the scene, with Man City desperately searching for a winner. Nevertheless, the Albania international once again provided a useful cameo and his clever stoppage time spin forced Phil Foden to haul him down and earned the visitors precious respite. With Calvert-Lewin having been a constant starter through this busy period and not having scored since September - though he was unlucky not to be credited with a brace in the win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the start of this month - this might be the time Dyche decides to shuffle his pack. The other question the manager faces will be around Dwight McNeil. The midfielder has not featured since playing a crucial role in that emphatic win over Wolves after aggravating a previous knee injury. Dyche described him as 'a maybe' for the visit of Forest but will also have in mind the condition of winger Iliman Ndiay
