Everton manager Sean Dyche was speaking following his side's 3-0 victory over Bournemouth

Sean Dyche has responded to the suggestion that Amadou Onana was initially dropped for Everton’s win over Bournemouth due to 'disciplinary reasons'.

Speculation was rife online following the release of team news at 2pm that Onana had been left out for 'disciplinary reasons'. However, when asked directly if that was the case, Dyche was quick to shut down the suggestion. “Douc may be slightly different because he’s in a more advanced role. But certainty, the other three are very good players; obviously, Gana has got more experience."

“But it’s pleasing; they put the work in, and it’s pleasing when it performs like that and they win games.
