Oasis are playing a string of shows in the UK and Ireland in 2025
On a beautiful summer's day, millions of us spent hours staring at our laptops and mobile phones in frustration and despair.
But after staring at their screens in frustration for what must have felt like an eternity, the tears of despair began to turn to joy for some. After much persistence, fans who managed to land a few of those precious tickets took to social media as they struggled to contain their excitement. The Advertising Standards Authority told the BBC it could not pass comment on Ticketmaster's pricing for Oasis tickets.
Tickets to all concerts eventually sold out at 7pm this evening - ten hours after they first went on sale. Those who missed out were left looking back in anger, with only the hope that further tour dates will be added in the near future. He added: "I'm sure Liam and Noel would have wanted their long-time, devoted fans to be at these gigs, but it seems that profit has taken precedence over loyalty."
"I then got kicked out as it said 'time has expired', I was in there about five mins, when it usually gives you 60 minutes. Around eight hours of absolute frustration, to have the prices unfairly hiked up and waiting for technical glitches to kick you out! Annoying." And in the dispute over 'dynamic pricing', Irish MEP Regina Doherty called for an investigation into the pricing structure for tickets sold for the two Oasis gigs at Croke Park in Dublin.
