The July chart saw sales of EA Sports FC 24 spike thanks to the Euros, as EA Sports College Football 25 makes its debut in the top ten.
EA Sports FC 24 is riding high off the Euros While the amount of new games usually dries up in the summer, this past month has been more quiet than usual. This is reflected in the UK sales chart for July, with the only new title being EA Sports College Football 25 which debuted at number seven. The best-selling game of July was EA Sports FC 24, which saw a spike in sales thanks to the Euros.
The Nintendo Switch was behind with a 9% drop in sales, while the Xbox Series X/S is in third position after a 19% sales decline. The PlayStation 5 recently surpassed four million sales in the UK, although it hit this milestone 31 weeks slower than the PlayStation 4. EA is set to launch EA Sports FC 25 on September 27, which sees England’s Jude Bellingham on the cover.
