TV presenter Eamonn Holmes took to Instagram on Monday to reveal his friendship with a very unlikely Hollywood star.
Eamonn wrote: "After years of being SM friends an ambition fulfilled tonight with the wonderful actress Kate Beckinsale.” Pictures of Eamonn with Katie, 42, circulated, showcasing them ready for a Mediterranean cruise out of Barcelona, then packing on the PDA in Ibiza – a trip which reportedly followed a weekend break to Eamonn's hometown of Belfast. Sources suggest that Ruth has been taken aback by these developments.
The mother of one, who has a grown-up son Jack with Eamonn, has been spotted having lively evenings out with pals recently. Especially noteworthy was her enjoyable night spent with her long-time friend Rylan Clark, culminating in a gathering at his Essex house alongside Lizzie Cundy. Both Eamonn and Ruth have been spotted still wearing their wedding bands. Concerns for Ruth were raised by viewers when she appeared on Loose Women, looking visibly upset. At the National Television Awards last Wednesday night, Ruth's Loose Women colleagues spoke of how their friend was doing, following her separation.
