Members of the cast of Aladdin - from Shona Halford MTDA Performing Arts Centre - paid children at Wishaw Hospital a special visit to spread some Christmas cheer.
Lanarkshire theatre school kids helped spread some festive cheer to a children's ward at Wishaw Hospital as they looked to pay back kindness shown to a fellow student.
She said: "Last year Anna spent most of December - including Christmas Day - in Wishaw children’s ward after suffering a ruptured appendix with complications. "It was an awful time but the kindness and generosity of others, including strangers, helped get us through each day. This year we wanted to pay back some of the kindness that got us through such a tough time."
Laura added: "The cast all arrived in their costumes, including Widow Twankey in their sparkly red platforms. From the moment they entered the ward there were smiles all around and spirits were quickly lifted. "I think that's what the true spirit of Christmas is. Hopefully this encourages others to spread some kindness too."
