The defending champions fell to defeat at Broadwood on Saturday
East Kilbride fell to a shock defeat at the hands of Cumbernauld Colts on Saturday - but Kilby boss Mick Kennedy insists his side didn’t turn in a bad performance, they just weren’t clinical enough when their chances came along.
But it was far from a case of Kennedy reading the riot act after the match. He said: “We were a bit slow but we still dominated a lot of the game, hit the bar with a couple of chances. For the amount of possession we had we should really have created a lot more. We had 70 per cent possession but sometimes you can have so much of the ball it just makes things a bit slow.
“It wasn’t bad performance overall or anything, it was just one of those days. We just need to be better and work on that this week.”
