The Lowland League champions have made their fourth signing of the summer after the ex-Hamilton man signed up
The 22-year-old has put pen to paper one year after turning down the club. Mimnaugh was a target for Kilby last summer but League One Queen of the South pipped the Lowland League champions to his signature.Mimnaugh becomes Kilby’s fourth summer signing following the arrivals of midfielder Jack Leitch, winger Broque Watson and centre-back Jordan McGregor earlier in the month.
“He is somebody who I have a lot of admiration for. I rate him really highly so I think he will be a great signing for us. We were that far down the line with Reegan last summer that we thought the deal was done but these things never are until somebody puts pen to paper. But it’s done this time, we’ve shaken hands and he is an East Kilbride player.
Mimnaugh made just 11 appearances for the Doonhamers under former boss Marvin Bartley last season, as an injury in September brought his campaign to an abrupt halt. He underwent surgery at the start of the year and is now fit and raring to go. A club statement read: “East Kilbride Football Club can confirm that both Jonathan Lyon and Cameron Eadie have joined West Of Scotland Premier Division side, Johnstone Burgh.
