Officers are hunting a driver understood to have crashed their vehicle into a barrier before it flipped on its side, on Crawford Drive in East Kilbride on Thursday morning.
A driver fled the scene after smashing into a barrier at a pedestrian crossing outside a school on Thursday morning.
We previously reported how a car was seen flipped on its side on Crawford Drive in East Kilbride. A pedestrian crossing barrier had also sustained damage after the incident which unfolded around 7.45am. Police and paramedics were called to the single-vehicle crash. Officers are now hunting the driver of the vehicle, who is understood to have ran away after the crash. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.45am on Thursday, 24 October, 2024 we were called to a report of a one car crash in Crawford Drive, East Kilbride.
