EastEnders spoilers show Billy struggle with Lola's death as the funeral approaches
One of the most loved partnerships in soap land has been EastEnders' Lola Pearce and her grandad Billy Mitchell in recent years. And ever since Lola – played by Danielle Harold – passed away at the end of May after a battle with a brain tumour, Billy has been struggling with the tragic loss.
Billy's anger comes out as he shares his disgust at the way the Mitchell family treated Lola over the years. That's because when Lola first arrived in 2011, the family didn't make her welcome. Those memories appear to be flooding back for Billy, who had a strong relationship with Lola. After lashing out at those closest to him Billy heads off on his own as he gets ready for one of the hardest days of his life.
