Since the incident, Linda and Shirley Carter decided to leave as they struggled to deal with Mick's disappearance and the "bad memories" in Walford. Sharon then took Annie and Ollie back to hers as a distraught Linda accused Alfie and the rest of their neighbours of not caring that Mick is gone.
