Chrissie Watts is returning to EastEnders later this year EastEnders has hinted at Chrissie Watts’ forthcoming return to the show in scenes that aired tonight. Soap bosses announced that the 00s Walford icon – played by Tracy-Ann Oberman – would be making a comeback after 20 years earlier this summer. Having been imprisoned for the murder of her husband Den Watts back in 2005 and with no current ties to Albert Square, fans have been speculating as to what exactly brings her back to Walford.
