EastEnders viewers believe they have worked out who attacked Cindy Beale on Christmas Day after Elaine Peacock made a discovery. Cindy was brutally hit on the head with a shovel minutes after her affair with Junior was exposed. She remains in a coma as the Beale and Knight families start to point fingers. George Knight secured an alibi from his brother Kojo, placing him away from the scene. George retrieved his blood-stained shirt, which he tried to conceal from Elaine.
Despite moving back into The Vic, Elaine found the shirt in a cupboard, leading to suspicions. George's daughters confirmed the shirt was worn on Christmas Day. However, fans believe the shirt is a distraction and George is covering for Kojo, who dislikes Cindy after falling from a height upon discovering the affair
