Cindy Beale will make her dramatic return to Albert Square next week and fans of the BBC soap have some big questions they want answered.
The EastEnders icon has returned to screens after being teased for months. The Knights - Cindy’s other family - arrived on Albert Square recently and slowly fans have been given clues about their link to Cindy - though some details remain a mystery.
As writes the Mirror, she was given a brand new life and a chance to start again after something happened behind bars that meant she needed to be relocated - but it hasn’t been revealed what. Cindy went on to meet George Knight and had two children with him - Gina and Anna - but none of them know anything about her true identity.
"My guess is that when Lucy was murdered, she thought it was a 'message' from the woman she was hiding from, and she had to run again. I don't know if she even knows it was Bobby," one said. Top TV news It was announced earlier this year that actress Michelle would reprise her role as Cindy in the BBC soap, 25 years after the character was killed off-screen in 1998. Cindy returned during an extended episode in June where it was confirmed she was alive, living in witness protection as Rose Knight and was George Knight's missing wife.
