Fans watching EastEnders on Tuesday evening shared their thoughts on a ‘traumatising’ scene featuring Sharon and Linda that has them worried for a major soap character
EastEnders fans rushed to social media on Tuesday 11 June to comment on the storyline that featured Sharon and Linda’s son Johnny attempting to sober Linda up after she passed out drunk in the bath.
Linda has battled alcoholism for years, with things getting much worse following the disappearance of her husband Mick, who is presumed dead after he was lost at sea following a car crash. She has also used alcohol as a way of coping after she killed Keanu. “When kellie bright and letitia dean are front and centre, this show is never better,” said a fan, while another wrote: “Kellie Bright is incredible tonight.” Another commenter said: “11 years in the show this year and still delivering an absolute masterpiece of acting. Kellie Bright, the woman that you are, tonight’s episode was something. She is incredible.”
“All the Mick mentions recently, he’s coming back I’m telling you,” said one fan, with another writing “Oh if only Mick could walk in right now, nobody is going to convince me he’s dead, he’s going to come back at some point I just know it,” and a third added: “After that what Linda said at the meeting, I am 100% sure that Mick is alive.”
