A director from BBC soap EastEnders promises 'monstrous' New Year episodes packed full of icons, ahead of the 40th anniversary in 2025.

Director Christopher McGill has promised some ‘monstrous’ episodes in a social media post from behind the scenes of the BBC soap. ‘Week Two on our monstrous New Year EastEnders episodes,’ he wrote, adding: ‘A room packed with EastEnd icons.
