Navin Chowdhry is making waves in Albert Square with his return as evil Nish Panesar, but away from EastEnders the actor has had a very interesting career history
The 53 year old actor joined the Walford cast as the villainous Nish, husband to Suki Panesar, fresh out of prison after serving time for murder. He's quickly becoming a memorable rogue in the series. He was even forced to beg bosses to make Nish less evil, as he was worried about how fans would see him because of his role.
Away from the BBC One soap, Navin has been gracing our screens since his teenage years, with roles in popular shows like Teachers, Doctor Who, and London's Burning, reports MyLondon. Navin went on to play IT teacher Kurt McKenna in the hit comedy series Teachers back in 2001 and Ralph in Channel 4's Ny-Lon in 2004.
And let's not forget, Navin took to the skies as a cargo pilot in the epic Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi in 2017. The EastEnders star has been openly supporting his wife Charlie through her courageous battle with breast cancer, which she was diagnosed with in the summer of 2020.
