EastEnders fans were treated to a rare sight indeed on Thursday’s edition of the BBC soap, when two long standing background characters were introduced to newcomer George Knight.
The surprising appearances made a huge change for the stars, who typically aren’t given speaking roles in the soap, despite making regular appearances. Elsewhere in the square however, an awestruck Winston was busty explaining to Whitney who George was, as it turned out he was a famous boxer that was familiar to many Walford residents.
One viewer cheekily quipped: "Extra budget on tonight's @bbceastenders we have had Winston and Tracey both speak a line!”Before a third fan added: "Tracey spoke two words! Omg!”The surprising appearance came as Walford welcomed the Knight family just one day on since the tragic death of Lola Pearce on Wednesday.
