Actors Scott Maslen and Rudolph Walker, who play Jack Branning and Patrick Trueman in the BBC soap, were among those spotted sitting down for a meal at Frizzante Proseccheria in the Scottish capital.
Staff at a local Italian eatery in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh were delighted when a bunch of actors and actresses from EastEnders decided to pop in for some grub.
Owner Pasquale Chierchia was absolutely thrilled to welcome the cast as they posed for a group photo, which was shared to the business' Facebook page. He said the visit from the famous faces rounded off the busy festival season perfectly. American actor Christopher McDonald, comedian Jack Whitehall, Zooey Deschanel and Gerard Butler were among those spotted in and around the city for its busiest season this year hosting the Edinburgh Fringe festival.
The 300 actor posed for a photo alongside a member of the Silent Adventures staff as he sported their famous headphones.
