EastEnders fans had to 'double take' after it was announced Teddy Mitchell's ex-wife was joining the soap, as they claimed she looked eerily similar to one classic character
EastEnders fans got a shock this week when it was revealed that Teddy Mitchell's ex-wife, Nicola is set to join the BBC soap in a dramatic move. Teddy, played by Roland Manookian, and his sons Barney and Harry , have made their mark on the square since their arrival earlier this year, and now a new member of the family is set to join in the drama.
Laura, who is already filming on set revealed: "Nicola is a complex woman who comes in like the Tasmanian Devil! She's strong and completely unapologetic about who she is. I've been so lucky to have my Mitchell boys, Roland, Elijah and Lewis, as they've taken me under their wing, and we feel like a family already. I'm loving every second so far."
“Didn’t know Sharon has a sister,” a third wrote, alongside some eye emojis, while another said: “Not just me right? She looks like Sharon!” However, Sharon wasn’t the only EastEnders legend fans were comparing Laura to, as others drew a comparison between the new arrival and Janine Butcher .
