Bleeding radiators can keep your bills down
Bleeding a radiator can ensure that it is operating as efficiently as possible, saving you money and keeping your home warm. Radiators need to bleed if they have air stuck inside them.
To bleed the radiator, use the key to turn the valve at the top of it. The key will lock into the square groove in the valve. Bleeding your radiators can cause the pressure to drop, so you should check it by looking at the gauge on your boiler. If the pressure has dropped too low, this will need to be topped up by using the lever or tap on your boiler, known as the filling loop.
