The flight from Glasgow to London landed in Manchester on Friday evening
An EasyJet flight from Glasgow to Luton made an emergency diversion to Manchester Airport after passengers reported a 'burning smell' onboard. The jet landed at Manchester at around 6.45pm on Friday.
A passenger tweeted: "My EasyJet flight home from Glasgow to Luton has had to make an emergency stop at Manchester due to a generator failing and smells of burning electricals! So much for this being a quick option."Flight tracking service RadarBox tweeted: "EasyJet #U2612 from Glasgow to London Luton is declaring an emergency and diverting to Manchester.
