One budget airline is making it possible with the launch of its longest-ever route from England. EasyJet has announced it will operate flights between Gatwick Airport in West Sussex and the island of Sal in Cape Verde next year.
’ Sal enjoys year-round sunshine The route is among 26 other new summer routes announced by EasyJet, 21 of which will serve the UK. Alongside Cape Verde, the airline will run flights to Rimini in Italy, another brand new destination. It’ll also be growing its network at London Luton, with routes to the Andalusian capital Almeria in Spain and Funchal in Madeira.
