Man United are understood to be monitoring Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze ahead of next summer's transfer window.
The challenge facing Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag over the next few weeks is settling on his preferred front-three.
Currently, the general feeling among United's supporters is that Amad, who started the clashes with Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion, Hojlund and Garnacho should make up United's first-choice attack with Rashford dropping out. As reported by the Manchester Evening News, it is understood United are going to target the addition of a winger next summer, meaning Antony could make way in less than 12 months time. United are understood to be monitoring Crystal Palace ace Eberechi Eze, 26, as an option to strengthen their attacking ranks.
Capable of playing both through the middle as an attacking-midfielder and as a winger - usually on the left - Eze is a multi-functional operator that can cause problems for opposing defences from wherever he is stationed on the pitch. He is an excellent dribbler, capable of getting his team up the pitch, and has the capacity to make things happen inside the final third.
Fernandes, who is United's architect-in-chief, has played on the right flank on a handful of occasions during his Old Trafford career, but he is not a natural winger by any stretch. He is at his best in the middle.
