Ed Sheeran announces he’s a dad as wife Cherry Seaborn gives birth to baby girl
Lyra's adorable name is inspired by Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series, which Ed has called the "best books I've ever read".
The intrepid Lyra is adventurous and intelligent but also highly devious, with her nickname being Silvertongue.Some even joked Lyra was conceived after the pair watched the TV adaptation of the books which aired on the BBC nine months ago.
